1. Formula: Considering the customer's specific requirements for grinding wheel sharpness and sharp corner shape retention, after many experiments and formula adjustments, appropriate raw materials were selected and the appropriate ratio was determined.

2. In terms of matrix: Considering the needs of the customer's dressing, the use of a powder transition layer not only meets the strength requirements of the matrix, but also eliminates the trouble of lathe processing the matrix before dressing the grinding wheel. 

3. In terms of performance:

Equipment: Dn 600 five-axis CNC grinder from Dongenlut;

Tool parameters: Φ12 2-flute milling cutter, one clearance angle: 12°, the second clearance angle: 8°.

Grinding parameters: grinding wheel speed: 25 m/s, (4586 rpm)

Grinding only the end edge, the amount of knife: 0.50mm/time,

Feed=100mm/min at a clearance angle,

When the second clearance angle is feed=80mm/min.

Grinding result: According to the above parameters, after 200 grindings, the projection of the sharp corner is as follows: 

The whole screen shows that the actual size of the grinding wheel is 1.838X1.468mm,

      The fillet radius of mywheels grinding wheel is about 0.3mm after measurement, and it can still be used.

   4. Customer verification:

   Equipment: Walter power

   Tool parameters: alloy rod with a diameter of 10mm, a core diameter of 5.4mm, a helix angle of 45 degrees, and a blade length of 40mm. Three-flute milling cutter. Other parameters are operated according to the customer's previous processing parameters, and the specific values are unknown;

   Finally, the customer processed about 2000 tools of various kinds. After removing the grinding wheel, the measured R was about 0.5mm. 

Comprehensive evaluation: The shape retention and sharpness of the grinding wheel have reached the performance of imported grinding wheels, which fully meets the needs of tool manufacturers.
